One of the more coveted non-HOFers of the T206 issue, Boston pitcher and future participant in the Black Sox Scandal Eddie Cicotte is pictured here with a more challenging Old Mill reverse.  Graded FR 1.5 by PSA, the card exhibits minor wear consistent with the grade, most notably some creasing that is most prevalent along the bottom third of the card.  The image area itself is largely unblemished, with a clean reverse.  T206 Cicotte cards with an Old Mill reverse are quite scarce; the PSA population report reveals just three examples (though we do believe that the actual number they have graded is higher, since they have not always tracked T206 backs in their pop reports). This is a strong example for the grade, but another example where rarity is far more important than condition.
