Eddie Cicotte could have been a Hall of Fame pitcher had he not been involved in the conspiracy to throw the 1919 World Series. Cicotte is pictured here with Boston, where he spent parts of five seasons before being sold to Chicago. His E95 card is a study in scarlet and while this SGC 1 example has seen some troubles, especially at the upper left, it is rich and bright, with a clean image. The back exhibits some paper loss, from where it was removed from an album, contributing considerably to the grade.
