A difficult issue which parallels the blank-backed W575-1 issue of 1921, the Clark's Bread cards are extremely rare and desirable, extraordinarily difficult to find for type card collectors. Like several of the other regional issues with unique back advertisements, it is unknown whether the Clark's Bread checklist matches the W575-1 set identically since it is unknown whether a complete set has ever been assembled. The cards are extremely rare. Just 36 cards from the issue have been graded by PSA and SGC combined. The only graded example of Smoky Joe Wood, the card has been holdered as AUTHENTIC by SGC due to the minimum size not being met. The cuts are natural, with rough cut top and left edges. Well-centered, the card does exhibit heavy staining over the image area, with some wear at the left edge and a few surface abrasions. Still, the desirability of this card is due to the extreme rarity and the collectibility of the player, not the condition of the card.
