Scarce Japanese postcard, one of a series of postcards produced to commemorate the visit of a grouping of American minor league and lesser major league players that toured the country in 1920-21.  This action photo pictures an American player at bat, the catcher and umpire behind him in the foreground, all awaiting a pitch.  A large crowd of spectators rings the field in the distance.  Some moderate soiling and corner wear renders the postcard in G-VG condition, a very difficult card from an overlooked set of postcards commemorating this lesser-known tour.
