The 1923-24 Cuban Winter League had enough interest to allow for multiple card issuers and Tomas Gutierrez took advantage to issue a lengthy, 85 subject set that were distributed as inserts with Diaz Cigarettes. Eustaquio Pedroso was a two-way player who played nineteen far flung seasons, making a living playing ball in a dizzying array of Negro and foreign leagues. This example, SGC 1.5, has mild age-related discoloration across much of the card, front and back, with a small bit of paper missing from the top left border. A very scarce issue.
