The Cabanas issue of 1909 was a limited set, distributed with Cabanas brand cigarettes in Cuba in conjunction with a postseason exhibition visit by the Detroit Tigers.  The set includes cards of the Almendares and Habana teams, as well as 12 members of the Tigers (Hall of Famers Ty Cobb and Sam Crawford did not join the Tigers on the trip, and are thus not included in the set). The cards are quite rare and desirable among advanced collectors.  This example pictures Almandares shortstop Alfredo Cabrera, graded GOOD 2 by SGC.  As is the case with most Cuban cards, this example is well-worn, with some minor staining and visible surface abrasions on the card front.  The reverse is largely clean, with some minor foxing.
