Attractive horizontal card of Stan Musial, issued by "Homogenized" Bond Bread in 1947, part of a 48-card set that included 44 baseball players and four boxers. Often considered Musial's rookie card, this example has been graded NM 7 by SGC, one of the highest-graded examples assessed by that company. The borderless photos include a facsimile autograph, and were typically found with rounded corners, though the Standard Catalog makes reference to square-cornered cards as well. An extremely sharp example, in very high demand among rookie card collectors.
