Sixty 1923-24 Cuban Winter League players were depicted in this popular set. With Billikens often found in horrendous shape, this SGC 4.5 has a refreshingly clean look, with a minimum of corner wear and a clear image of Frank Duncan, who hit .331 for a talented Santa Clara squad. The reverse shows some foxing but has come through the last century in fine shape. Duncan had a long career, playing 25 seasons across the Negro and Mexican Leagues, with his 1923-24 foray the only time he played in Cuba.
