Beautiful example of one of the most attractive of all 19th Century issues, depicting one of the era's most popular players. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1939, Ewing, along with Cap Anson, have certainly been the most popular and enduring players of their era and this is certainly one of his most attractive cards. Bright and colorful, the card's primary flaws relate to some soiling and surface wear, the soiling more pronounced on the reverse. Some light abrasions are visible near the bottom left area of the card. All in all, a wonderful example of the key card in the N29 Allen & Ginter issue.
