A Whiz Kid Phillie, Simmons was part of a National Guard unit that was activated in August 1950 and missed out on the World Series that year but he would resurface in the 1964 Fall Classic, starting two very solid games for the World Champion Cardinals. There's a little bit of a tilt and some minor corner wear but this is one colorful card. This signature, big, blue and bold with some serious panache, is PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC.
