Phil Cavarretta spent 22 big league seasons playing in Chicago, 20 of them for the Cubs, and was the NL batting champ and MVP in 1945. He's depicted with a bold red background on his 1952 semi-high number Topps card and as seen here, this example has some age-related flaws. The signature, in blue, is PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC, slightly faded with some mild ink skipping.
