The Bregstone postcard issue contains photographic images of members of the St. Louis Browns and Cardinals, and is rare enough that poses and variations remain as of yet undiscovered.  Catalogued as PC743, they are considered among the most rare postcards featuring individual players from multiple teams.  

The card was one of a significant find of Bregstone postcards we received on consignment from the family of former Browns pitcher Barney Pelty.  A, a sharp and clean specimen with a slight bit of corner wear, notably at the bottom left, keeping the card from a higher holder.  This example, featuring outfielder Al Schweitzer standing in full uniform in front of a small crowd of fans, is quite detailed, with multiple visible figures in the background and unkempt grass in the foreground.  Graded GOOD 2 by PSA, the card does suffer from some surface abrasions and overall soiling.  Despite the grade of GOOD 2, it is the highest-graded example as of this writing, the only example graded by PSA and a single FAIR example graded by SGC.
