By 1934 veteran Phil Todt's power numbers were in decline he had an eight-year career in the major leagues on which to look back primarily as a first baseman with the Red Sox. Represented here on his 1933-34 Worch Cigar American Association card Todt is wearing his first baseman's mitt grinning at someone off-camera. Graded GOOD 30 by SGC the number "411" written in light pencil on the reverse the card's only real flaw. A beautiful example of a tough card from a very scarce issue.
