The Big Cat put together a purr-fectly wonderful career across fifteen big league seasons, ten of which were rewarded with an All Star Game selection. With three years given over to Uncle Sam that reduced his impressive numbers considerably, he still put up 359 dingers, 1,337 RBI and over 2,000 hits. Johnny Mize could rake. His contract was sold to the Yankees by the Giants in August of 1949 and he went on to win five straight World Series titles in the Bronx, capping a true Hall of Fame career.

He got the horizontal treatment from Tops in 1952 and to great effect, check out the fabulous facade in the background. There's a little tilt and the corners have started to wear but the look is nice.  He's signed in blue Sharpie, on a PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC example.
