After three seasons in Brooklyn spread over five years, with some forays among their various farm teams, Phil Haugstad was waived by the Dodgers on May 25th of 1952, too late for Topps to catch up to the Reds picking him up for a final, quick go-round before they too released him in early July. He was picked up by the Browns but his parachute never opened in St. Louis. The 1952 Topps card seen here has corner rounding and is centered right and low, with a light stain in the lower-right. The signature is in blue but it has faded and even a bit smudged. It's a PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC example.
