Not the legendary hobbyist from Arizona, this Don Johnson spent seven years in the major leagues as a pitcher with some eye-poppingly high ERA's in the early 1950's. He won a ring with the 1947 Yankees in his rookie season in what was clearly the highlight of his career. Centered to the lower right with some minor chipping on the right side, the pale pink background works quite well thanks to the blue prominent Senators cap. The signature is in blue and Hancock-ian in scope, it is simply superb. PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC is the assessment.
