Bruce Williams was Brooklyn's starting catcher in 1947 and was supplanted by Roy Campanella, spending three years without a position before the Dodgers traded him to the Cubs. He died young in 1975 at the age of 51, and as a result, there are just eight examples of his autographed '52 Topps cards assessed by PSA (this one has been counted twice, the original has yet to be removed from PSA's pop report). There's a little corner wear and a short stretch of edge chipping, while to color looks vibrant and bright. The blue ink autograph is neatly executed and is a nice PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC example.
