Centered toward the lower left corner, this PSA 5.5. of Mickey Grasso has an appealing, colorful look. A career backstop over seven disjointed seasons, Grasso was a German POW for over two years who amazingly escaped confinement in April 1945. His signature hereon in blue ballpoint, has been graded PSA/DNA NM-MT 8.  Grasso passed away of a heart attack in 1975 at the young age of 55.  As a result of his early demise, PSA/DNA has authenticated just 14 signed 1952 Topps cards; this one is likely one of the finest.
