Would Warren Spahn have won 400 games if not for World War II?  It's a valid question and with 37 more wins needed over three seasons lost to combat, one that is a great "what-if?" for sure.  He did fight though, was wounded several ties in front line action and was the most decorated major leaguer in the war.
