Reds and Cardinals shortstop Virgil Stallcup enjoyed a seven year career in the majors. He died relatively young in 1989, missing much of the lucrative card-signing opportunities afforded his peers. His 1952 Topps card is a horizontal effort, with nice brightness on this example. The ungraded card looks nice, with just some very minor corner touches evident. He's added his first name of Thomas here with a signature given a MINT 9 grade by PSA/DNA.
