Dick Williams made the Hall of Fame as a manager but he had a pretty solid career as a utility player, breaking in with Brooklyn in 1951. With his fame far ahead, he was a typical choice for Topps to include in the 1952 high number series. This is also his rookie card so there's a host of overlapping interests here.  The card itself exhibits some corner wear and a light water stain can be seen in the lower right corner, confined within the border.  The image is clear and the signature, a well-deserved MINT 9, is bold and clear, with a "HOF 2008" inscription added by Williams.
