Brooklyn and LA's relief ace for a good part of the 1950's was Clem Labine. He snagged two World Series rings with the Dodgers and then provided some strong stretch run bullpen help for the 1960 Pirates before ending his career as an Original Met in 1962. His high number, horizontal 1952 Topps card has long been a collector's favorite and this example, while a little scuffed, retains its color. Labine's signature is ornate and strong on this PSA/DNA Authentic example, executed in blue ballpoint pen. Despite Labine's popularity, the total graded population of signed 1952 Topps cards is just 7 (this one is counted twice due to resubmission). A scarce and desirable card.
