Mike Tiernan was an excellent slugging outfielder for the New York Giants in a career that spanned 1887 to 1899. Often breaking double digits in Home Runs, he had some serious pop at a time when the long ball was almost an afterthought.  This is one of six poses he can be found with in the N172 series. Graded GOOD 2 by SGC, the image, which is off center to the right, has some dark specks of staining in the field between the Old Judge slug and Tiernan, with the lower right corner showing signs of an ancient ding. Some light staining and foxing can be seen on the reverse.
