Mike Tiernan was an excellent slugging outfielder for the New York Giants in a career that spanned 1887 to 1899. Often breaking double digits in Home Runs, he had some serious pop at a time when the long ball was almost an afterthought.  This is one of six poses he can be found with in the N172 series. Graded FAIR 1.5 by SGC, the image has a vertical crease running through it, and a number of surface scratches are visible. Some light staining can be seen on the reverse.
