Thorpe is pictured at the Giants spring training facility in Marlin, Texas while sporting a uniform style only worn by the team during the previous season of 1912. 6" x 8" photo exhibits superb image quality with only a touch of chipping to the four corners. Verso is clean aside from several handwritten notations, International credit stamping and two date stamps of April 3, 1922. Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type 1 photo by PSA/DNA.
