Attractive Los Angeles Angels home jersey dating to 1962, as worn by infielder Joe Koppe.  Koppe had an 8-year major league career, mostly as a reserve infielder, though in 1962 he played in 128 games for the Angels.  His lifetime batting average was .236, but he got on base at a higher clip, with a .324 OBP.  This Rawlings 7-button size 42 jersey bears Koppe's uniform number 1, but the player name stitching has been removed from the tail, reducing the grade by a full point.  Significant signs of wear are evident, notably dirt at the sleeves and collar.  Full LOA from MEARS.
