Stunning example of the #1 card from the popular 1948 Leaf football set of Hall of Fame Quarterback Sid Luckman. The first NFL player to ever throw for 400 yards in a game Luckman played his entire career with the Chicago Bears winning four championships and being named the NFL's Most Valuable Player in 1943. Though Luckman had played nine seasons by the time this card was issued it remains his first card due to the lack of production of football sets in this era.
