Lot Description  

2.25" x 4.25" snapshot photograph featuring a ceremonial first pitch prior to a contest between Cuban teams from Santa Clara and Marianao. Hall of Famers Willie Wells (crouching) and Martin Dihigo (far right) are present in this image and verso includes date stamping indicating the photo originates from on or around November 3, 1935. Encapsulated as a Type 1 photo by PSA/DNA.
