Jack Chesbro's portrait card from T206 captures the Hall-of-Fame hurler at the tail end of his career and inadvertently celebrates the end of an era as he was traded to the Red Sox in the middle of the 1909 season and then retired.  His 41 wins in 1904 remains the American League record. The green background is a study in fine shading and the facial coloring is sublime.  The centering is sweet on this EX-MT example, featuring a Piedmont 150 Factory 25 reverse.
