Each scene featured was based on existing photographs of the day, affording modern collectors the opportunity to identify these players within the past several years. Players known to be depicted include: Frank Chance (righty batting), Jimmy Collins (fielding), Ollie Pickering (lefty batting), and George Winter (holding ball). All four cards were consigned to us by the estate of former Browns pitcher, Barney Pelty and have been addressed directly to Pelty himself before being postally used.
