The 1980-81 Perez-Steele Hall of Fame Art Cards series ushered in an era of collectible postcard-sized pieces of illustration art that has brought us the likes of the NFL Goal Line Art series, the Hockey Hall of Fame's "Legends of Hockey" series and, of course, the Perez-Steele "Great Moments" cards.  The Hall of Fame Art Cards were arguably the most elegant, however, featuring 180 beautiful full-color postcard-sized portraits of Hall of Fame members, suitable for autographs or simply for collecting unsigned.  Just 10,000 sets were made in six 30-card series.  Presented here are gorgeous cards of Pop Loyd and Sam Thompson, both of which originated from the collection of Hall of Famer Ted Williams, pedigreed as such by SGC.
