Berk-Ross tried to make their way in the postwar milieu, issuing two sets, the last in 1952, which is notable for the inclusion of Ted Williams and Joe DiMaggio. Another Hall-of-Famer is the subject here though, with Robin Roberts is inexplicably captured with a fuchsia background and an assessment of 7.5 from SGC. The cards were issued in pairs and you can see the little nubs are still visible at various points on the top and bottom borders.  Just a couple of dirt flecks can be seen on the surface.
