The 1933 Goudey Baseball set is one of the pillars of the hobby and was an enormous success upon its release some ninety years ago. Featuring well-executed illustrations of the game's top players, the artistry on some cards stands out a little bit more than on others and this wonderfully expressive rendering of Hall-of Fame shortstop Rabbit Maranville perfectly captures his burning intensity. Accurately graded as an SGC 3, there's really just some age-related handling wear holding the grade back.
