Frank "Home Run" Baker's power stats wouldn't pass muster today but in the deadball era he was a prodigious hitter who earned his nickname after homering in two straight World Series games in 1911, despite nasty spikings in games 1 and 2 from the opposing Giants. He earned three rings with Connie Mack's famed Philadelphia Athletics squads and was part of the legendary "$100,000 Infield." This SGC 1 of the Hall-of-Famer has seen some handling in its day but retains nice color. The reverse is a 350-460 series Piedmont factory 25.
