Four future Hall of Famers are present in this image, including Max Carey, Kiki Cuyler, Bill McKechnie and Pie Traynor. In 1925 McKechnie's men bested the defending World Series Champion Washington Senators in seven games, who themselves had won a seven-game World Series in 1924, outlasting the Giants. Some waviness is present to the top and bottom edges of this example which is typical of news service photos of the era. Light corner wear is evident, though the central image remains impressive with wonderful tonal contrast.
