Yankees slugger, Henry Louis Gehrig relaxes with future Hall of Fame manager, Miller Huggins in this 6.5" x 8.5" news service photo from International. Shot in St. Petersburg, Fl during spring training, 1929, the pair are at the batting cage next to teammate Babe Ruth who is just to their right. Photo remains bright and largely free of surface wrinkles and creasing typical of press photos from this era. Both men have been identified in handwritten ballpoint within the bottom border. Small pieces of paper remnants are affixed to all four corners of verso, which includes large International stamping. Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type 2 photo, created sometime during the 1940's, by PSA/DNA.
