Scarce early professional football program from Civic Stadium in Buffalo, NY. As the program cover states, this afternoon AFL contest pitted the home Buffalo Tigers against a visiting Milwaukee Chiefs squad. This was in-fact the third iteration of a professional football league to bear the name "American Football League" and was short-lived, only existing for two seasons from 1940-41. Program remains highly presentable, though cover exhibits heavy soiling with moderate wear to spine, softened corners, and pencil markings visible. Interior pages are fairly well preserved and program appears in GD condition overall.
