Collectors growing up in the 70's will instantly recognize this image of Gehrig as the source material for both his 1973 Topps "All-Time Grand Slam Leader" and 1976 Topps "All-Time All-Stars" cards. Gehrig is in full-swing during batting practice, grimacing after making contact with the baseball as a catcher looks on. Shot and printed sometime during the 1930's, this example features bright white borders with only minor wear/chipping to the corners.
