Pair of ticket stubs from Game 3 of the 1956 World Series, played at Yankee Stadium. With the returning champion Dodgers ahead, 2 games to 0, the Yankees sent Whitey Ford back to the mound, and he rewarded the team with a complete-game victory. Enos Slaughter's three-run home run in the 6th provided the Yankees enough offense as they would win the game, 5-3.
The first of the two stubs is in POOR condition with significant soiling and surface wear. The second stub, also a bleacher stub, exhibits stronger eye appeal, technically GOOD condition with some minor staining and a light surface abrasion in the pink area to the right of the ticket. Two ticket stubs total.
