Game 2 was another pitcher's duel, a 1-0 game that this time tipped in favor of the Dodgers.  Preacher Roe was given a run in the second inning on a Jackie Robinson double and a Gil Hodges single.  Aside from that, Vic Raschi and Joe Page held the Dodgers scoreless the rest of the way, and Roe pitched a 6-hit shutout, helping the Dodgers tie the series at 1 game each.
