Crisp-looking midgrade example of Dizzy Dean, who looks lie he just snapped off a curveball from the world's most unkempt mound on this 1933 Goudey card. Subtle pastel colors can be seen on ol' Diz's uniform and even mingling in his shadow and the green grass in the background almost melts away as it meets blue sky. A sly "Big League Gum" in-house advert adorns the billboard back by the trees on what was clearly a well thought out image. The borders remain bright and the card has a very appealing look. The back looks great as well, the green text glowing against a slightly off-white background. Dizzy's biggest season was yet to come and his National league Leading 30 wins in 1934 have not been touched since.
