As one of the most popular players of the deadball era Christy Mathewson remains one of the most widely collected. As such his cards are in high demand regardless of condition even the lowest collector-grade examples commanding a premium. Graded GOOD 2 by PSA this example is marred by severely rounded corners moderate creasing and surface wear along with some mild staining - however the image of Mathewson in the set position is largely unobstructed by the wear. Some mild paper loss on the reverse does not obscure the text on the card.
