Rare tri-fold postcard featuring a panoramic photo of the 1908 St. Louis Browns in their cold-weather attire.  Measuring approximately 16 1/2" x 3.5" when fully extended, the team image is set atop a white border in which the various subjects are identified, along with the team and year.  The lower-left corner assigns production credit to the Star Photo Co. of St. Louis.  The card features Hall of Famers Bobby Wallace and Rube Waddell (posed underneath a whiskey advertisement).  Seventh from right is pitcher Barney Pelty, the Browns pitcher and owner of this card, which was consigned by members of his family.  The card does exhibit wear, including weakness at the folds, soiling, and surface abrasions.  However, it presents extremely well despite the condition, an outstanding display piece featuring two future Hall of Famers, previously owned by one of the team's players.
