Issued by the Funmate company of British Columbia in the early 1980s the NHL Puffy Stickers issue was comprised of 148 "puffy" stickers presented in individual panels featuring six players wrapped in cellophane with a paper hang tag. The panels consisted of 21 "player" panels (as described above) plus four team panels featuring individual team logos. The set could be completed by acquiring the 25 different panels with the stickers intended to be placed in an album.Presented here are 17 of the set"s 25 panels containing all but three of the player panels and none of the team panels. The set"s key sticker that of a youthful-looking Wayne Gretzky is represented on Panel #1. All 17 panels are in excellent condition sealed in their original factory packaging. Missing from the set are panels 3 4 5 11 and 22-25.An excellent oddball addition to any hockey collection.
