Spalding ONL (Giles) baseball signed and inscribed on the west panel by Hall of Fame manager Casey Stengel.  The ball is, for the most part, in outstanding shape, relatively clean with little soiling and only light toning.  The inscription reads "Future Sarasota Kit from Casey Stengel."  While the meaning is uncertain, the signature is unquestionable - legible, with very little fading.  The panel on which the signature appears does exhibit some slight damage in the form of stains and a few gouges to the hide.  The stains do impact the inscription, but not the signature itself.  Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
