Outstanding Ebbets Field ticket stub from Game 4 of the 1947 World Series, between the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Yankees.  The series was noteworthy because it was the first in which a racially integrated team played, Jackie Robinson having led the Dodgers to the Series.  Game 4 was a 3-2 Brooklyn victory, a walk-off thanks to Cookie Lavagetto's pinch-hit, two-out single which ended a no-hitter and scored two runs (both runners had walked).  Despite the Yankees' Game 5 victory, Game 4 reversed the momentum of the Series, preventing the Yankees from going up three games to one.  The Series would ultimately be won by the Yankees, but not until 7 games had been played.

The stub is in FAIR condition, mostly due to the words "NO HITTER" erroneously written on the front.  The presentation is strong, some minor tearing and creasing evident but not distracting.  An outstanding stub from a legendary game in Dodgers lore.
