Briggs Stadium ticket stub from Game 3 of the 1945 World Series between the Detroit Tigers and Chicago Cubs, a Series won in 7 games by Detroit.  Game 3 was played on October 5, a 3-0 Chicago win.  the game is significant because Claude Passeau of Chicago pitched a one-hit shutout, up until then only the second 1-hitter in World Series history (there have been two since, plus Don Larsen's perfect game).  The stub is in POOR condition with significant creasing and surface wear, along with staining on the reverse.  Some small tears are also evident at the edges.  Still, a historically significant ticket stub.
