Grouping of nine World Series ticket stubs, one from each World Series between 1961 and 1969 save for 1964, which is featured as a separate lot in the auction.  This group is taken from a comprehensive run of World Series tickets from 1920 to the present, and contains the following:  1) 1961 World Series: Crosley Field Game 3 ticket stub, Yankees 3-2 victory over Cincinnati with home runs from Roger Maris and John Blanchard.  VG. 2) 1962 World Series: Yankee Stadium Game 3 ticket stub, Yankees 3-2 victory over San Francisco with a home run by Ed Bailey of San Francisco.  G. 3) 1963 World Series: Yankee Stadium Game 2 ticket stub, Dodgers 4-1 win over the Yankees en route to a four-game sweep.  Moose Skowron home run for Los Angeles behind an excellent pitching performance from Johnny Podres. F with ink marking.  4) 1965 World Series: Metropolitan Stadium Game 6 ticket stub, Minnesota 5-1 victory over Los Angeles, with home runs by Ron Fairly for the Dodgers and Bob Allison and Muscat Grant for the Twins, Grant becoming just the 7th pitcher ever to homer in a World Series.  VG-EX.  5) 1966 World Series: Dodger Stadium Opening Game ticket, 5-2 Baltimore Orioles victory behind home runs from Frank Robinson and Brooks Robinson.  Jim Lefebvre homered for Los Angeles.  VG-EX.  6) 1967 World Series: Busch Stadium Game 5 stub, 3-1 Boston Red Sox victory over St. Louis, Jim Lonborg out dueling Steve Carlton despite a home run from Roger Maris of St. Louis.  POOR condition.  7) 1968 World Series: Busch Stadium Opening Game stub, St. Louis defeating the Detroit Tigers, 4-0, Bob Gibson out dueling Denny McLain in his 31-win season.  Gibson scattered five hits, striking out 17, setting a World Series record. POOR condition with clear tape along one edge. 8) 1969 World Series: Memorial Stadium Opening Game stub, from a Baltimore 4-1 victory over the New York Mets, the only Series game the Orioles would win.  VG-EX.  Eight stubs total.
