Complete run of ticket stubs, one from each World Series between 1980 and 1989.  Collection includes the following: 1) 1980 World Series: Veteran's Stadium ticket stub for Game 2 between the Kansas City Royals and Philadelphia Phillies, a see-saw game that saw the Phillies rally off Royals closer Dan Quisenberry to win the game, 6-4.  FAIR condition with considerable fading.  2) 1981 World Series: Yankee Stadium Opening Game stub against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Ron Guidry taking the mound against Jerry Reuss.  The Yankees would win the game, 5-3, but after winning the Series' first two games, would go on to lose the next four to the Dodgers.  EX condition.  3) 1982 World Series: Milwaukee County Stadium stub for Game 3 between the Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals, a 6-2 Cardinals win behind team leader Joaquin Andujar.  Willie McGee hit two home runs and made two beautiful plays in the field for the Cardinals, who would take the Series in 7 games.  EX condition.  4) 1983 World Series: Veterans' Stadium ticket stub from Game 3 Between the Baltimore Orioles and Philadelphia Phillies.  Hall of Famers Steve Carlton and Jim Palmer faced off, Carlton being the first 300-game winner to pitch in a World Series since Grover Cleveland Alexander.  Baltimore won the game, 3-2.  G condition with some wear and creasing.  5) 1984 World Series: Tiger Stadium "A" ticket stub, the Tigers won the Series in five games over the San Diego Padres.  VG-EX condition.  6) 1985 World Series: Royals Stadium Full Ticket for Opening Game of the series against the St. Louis Cardinals.  St. Louis would win the game, 3-1, behind the pitching of John Tudor.  When Lonnie Smith led off the game, he became the first player in MLB history to be traded from a team during the season, and then play against that same team in the World Series that season.  EX+ condition.  7) 1986 World Series: Shea Stadium ticket stub from Game 2 of the World Series against the Boston Red Sox, a 9-3 Red Sox victory behind home runs from Dave Henderson and Dwight Evans.  FAIR condition.  8) 1987 World Series: Busch Stadium stub from Game 5 of the 1987 Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Minnesota Twins, a 7-game affair taken by Minnesota.  St. Louis would win this game, 4-2, with the Cardinals stealing five bases in the game.  VG condition.  8) 1988 World Series: Oakland-Alameda County Stadium stub from Game 4 of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Oakland A's.  Prior to the game, Bob Costas commented that the Dodgers were about to put up what might have been the weakest-hitting lineup in World Series history.  After the Dodgers won this game, 4-3, Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda commented that the MVP of the Series should be Costas.  FAIR condition with a horizontal crease.  9) 1989 World Series: Candlestick Park stub for Game 4, the deciding game between the San Francisco Giants and Oakland A's, who swept the Series best known for the earthquake that occurred during Game 2.  Oakland won Game 4, 9-6, Rickey Henderson leading off with a home run and the A's continuing to put runs on the board in the 2nd, 5th ,6th, and 8th to stay ahead.  EX condition.  Ten stubs total.
