In 1971 Topps released an accordion-like set of sixteen Baseball Tattoos on panels that unfolded like old-time wallet photos, and they proved as ephemeral as a summer breeze, with the vast majority of subjects applied to the sun-bleached skin of American kids that season. Really a "Photo Tattoo" this perforated panel features a well-preserved image of Clemente along with two spot illustrations. The PSA 6 grade is for the entire panel, which has evidence of a rough separation border on the lower left and a hint of product residue well south of Clemente. The portrait image here is about as nice as it gets and these are proving to be one of the tougher secondary Topps releases of the 70's. Only 24 Clemente panels total have been graded by PSA.
